It's an honor to introduce you to Karla Byrum as she shares about her small business, Wandering Tulips—Vintage cutlery engraved with love and USA-quality leather.
Karla lives in Texas, offering vintage cutlery as unique hand-stamped gifts and collectibles. She recently added leatherwork to her shop as well. Her work is quite beautiful!

Excerpt from page 147 of Our Story Magazine: Winter 2021-2022.
It's amazing to be able to look back and see God's hand in everything. My husband, Brett, and I spent the last 10 years in Magnolia, Texas, homeschooling our kids at the nudging of God. That definitely wasn't on our radar originally, but I'm so glad we were obedient to God's plan.
I am able to use some of my creativity, as well as form relationships with other like-minded small business owners. I love connecting with my sweet customers, who engage with me on social media and continue to support my small shop.
One of my favorite interactions was a conversation I had with our mailman, telling him about my business and how I pray over each order.
The next day I saw him again and happened to have one of my favorite spoons ready to give him: Pray Wait Trust. It led to a conversation about his relationship with Christ.
I love the doors God is opening through this business, and I look forward to many more conversations like that!
My favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
