Meet Casey, Author of Abundant Fruit. Our Summer Feature.

It's an honor to introduce you to Casey Wayne, the author of Abundant Fruit: Cultivating fruit of the Spirit through spiritual growth. This 28-day devotional helps moms understand and embrace their personal sanctification journey and encourages them to rely more on the Spirit in their everyday lives.


Casey Wayne is a wife and mother of two. She enjoys time with her family doing simple things like movie nights and cooking together. As a devotional writer, Casey strives to share her story with relatable honesty, showing how God is faithful throughout the big and small moments of life. She has a heart for encouraging the faith walk of other moms. Praying they gain a deeper connection with our heavenly Father. Her family lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Casey graciously contributed tw0 devotionals to our Summer Issue from her new book, Abundant Fruit. We included it as a summer weekend devotional. Casey's introduction and TWO DAYS OF ABUNDANT FRUIT are on pages 60-65.

"Are you producing fruit of the Spirit through your faith? Are you searching for a guide to spiritual growth? When I was at my lowest and grasping for next steps, God revealed the fruit of the Spirit to me. Over the years, Galatians 5:22–25 has become a guiding source for what my life should look like as I strive to be more like Jesus to those around me.


After accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are called to become more like Him. Our willingness to strive to follow God’s path is an essential component to our long-term spiritual growth. Even as a Christ follower, life can be tough. Days can still be filled with chaos, and our human instincts can bring us down.
