There is something extra special about receiving a handwritten letter or notecard. How often does someone cross our minds, yet we fail to let them know we were thinking of them? Maybe you are thinking of someone right now. Would you like to send them a letter?
If you have a copy of our Spring Issue, you can pull out page 133 to use for writing a letter. We also invite you to check out our featured entrepreneur on pages 142–149—Lauren te Velde of Paper Farm Press! She creates delightful cards with an antique letterpress and encourages us to “cultivate community one card at a time.” Also see our blogpost featuring Lauren and Paper Farm Press.
If you are unsure of who to write, here are several ideas to inspire you:
• A mother. Mother's Day is right around the corner. Write a letter to your mom, mother-in-law, or a friend who is a mom about why you admire them.
• A sister. Remind your sister, sister-in-law, or soul-sister of memories you share, or let her know what a positive influence she has been in your life.
• A pastor's wife. The spring months mean a full calendar for pastors' wives. In addition to ministry in the church, she may attend graduations, weddings, baby showers, and more to celebrate with the members of the church family.
We also invite you to write to Our Story Magazine! We would love to hear from you! Tell us a part of your story, share a prayer request, or tell us about a dream you would like to achieve one day. Share what you love about Our Story or suggest something you would like to see included.
